Indianapolis Airport is Going Blue – BlueIndy Opens Largest Station Yet

IMG_7245The all-electric carsharing service, BlueIndy, has launched one of its largest stations at the Indianapolis International Airport.

The new station will have 20 spaces to provide airport customers with BlueIndy’s carsharing vehicles. To use a BlueIndy electric vehicle, the rate is $8 for 20 minutes plus a $6 airport surcharge. After 20 minutes, it’s 40 cents per minute. The cars are now available on the fifth floor of the airport’s parking garage.

In September 2015, BlueIndy’s all-electric carsharing service launched in Indianapolis, its first U.S. market. Over the course of the next several months, BlueIndy plans to have 500 cars at up to 200 stations conveniently located around the city.
